We could use some help
From you. Yes, you can help us move one step closeer to achieving our goals. We’ve gone a long way, but we have an even longer way to go. Many things need to get done, and we need help from the pro-health community. Many of the different ways in which you can help do not involve money, and only require a very small investment of time on your part.
So, what can you help with?
Add yourself to our mailing list
Everyone should do this. Seriously, click the link I’ll wait a few seconds. It literally takes only a couple of minutes and you help us immensely by growing our free subscribers list. We will not be inundated with a thousand e-mails. Most of our communications happen via the website, Twitter and Facebook so you can rest assured that we will not abuse the privilege of having your e-mail address in our files. Also, barring shenanigans from Mail Chimp, our e-mail marketing service provider, we will never give your e-mail out to any third parties, ever.

For updates longer than the 140 character maximum of Twitter, consider “liking” our Facebook page, and sharing our updates with your FB friends. We do not post a lot of updates so we will not inundate your Wall, we promise.
Spread the word
I don’t think I need to preach to you how important it is to spread the pro-health message. One way to do that is to plug The Vaccine Times, and help us reach our goals. We need more subscribers to our free e-mail list, many, many more; so if you didn’t already, please look up and add yourself to our free mailing list.
Help us grow; give us a shout-out on Twitter, share something from our Facebook page with your Facebook friends, give us a plug on your blog or podcast. Post the following on your Twitter or Facebook account:

Marketing
Our goal is to reach parents through their pediatrician’s and doctor’s office. In turn, that implies that we have to be able to reach the pediatricians and doctors so that they can decide (hopefully) to subscribe to the print Vaccine Times. It turns out that is not so easy to do. CAN SPAM forbids us from sending unsolicited blast e-mails, and a similar law forbids us from sending unsolicited mass faxes. The obvious option is to advertise with publications that reach a lot of pediatricians and doctors, such as…oh say Pediatrics journal. The problem, as most of you have probably guessed already, is that that is prohibitively expensive. So what to do?
If you can help with this sort of stuff, drop us a line at admin@vaccinetimes.com
Work for a health, skeptical or other interested organization?
Let them know about the Vaccine Times. Ask them to support the mission by buying advertising space from us. Our prices are quite reasonable. Ask them to consider purchasing a number of subscriptions for their employees. Ask them to purchases in bulk, to give out for any special events they may have planned. Do they have any special programs that fall within the vaccination education efforts that can sponsor us? Some of you work for government health agencies, ask around if there are any special grants that might apply to our project.
Some of you work in the health-care system yourself. We expect the most enthusiastic response will be from those of you in this field, since educating the public about life-saving vaccines falls within your domain and directly benefits you. So ask your employer if they have any funds in their budget that can be used to support The Vaccine Times. Ask the doctors at the practice you work to purchase a subscription each.
And lastly….
We get branded “shills” on occasion, so brighten up our day a little and send us a nice word; it helps to keep us going (almost as much as a new subscription order
)
